There are two types of speaking I do professionally: classroom teaching and keynotes at conferences.
My keynotes are 50 minute lectures that mix personal stories and lessons in game design. You can see a list of them in the Portfolio section. I teach people things they should know in a way they’ll remember, influenced by the lessons I’ve learned from theatre, radio presenting and stand-up comedy.
My classroom teaching is built around practical lessons which make a difference to creative thought and industry practice. These sessions can be introduced by one of the keynotes, which frame detailed discussion and workshops, or by participants’ own projects.
If you’d like me to talk at your event or institution please get in touch.
